Every year, we hold a formal Gala party to celebrate our birthday and raise money for GMSA. We have been holding this event every year since our 20th anniversary in 2014. This event brings us together to have a nice meal and celebrate a wonderful year in advocacy. There is a guest speaker who comes and entertains. And of course - dancing! Self-advocates give speeches about what self-advocacy means to them and how it has changed our lives for the better. We held the 2023 GALA on November 9th.
