Do I have to spend the night?
No, you can go home to sleep and come back the next day.
Can I have my own room?
Yes. You need to pay for the whole room.
Does my support person have to pay?
Yes. Support people need to register for the conference and pay the registration fee. They will need to pay for the hotel also.
Can I come for the first day only?
No. Day one is for people who have registered for both days.
Can I just come on the second day?
Yes. You can register for Day 2 only.
Is there a scholarship for people who lived at Brandon?
Yes. Call for an application.
Can I come before 3 pm?
No. There is nothing to do. Registration opens at 3. People who come early usually spend time at the University Mall or other Burlington attractions.
What time is dinner?
Dinner is at 6:30 pm
What time is breakfast?
Breakfast is from 7-8 am if you spend the night.
What time can I come on the second day?
Registration starts at 8:30.
Can I buy a GMSA tee shirt?
Yes. There will be tee shirts for sale while they last.
Can I teach a workshop?
You can apply to teach a workshop. Fill out the application. We will let you know if your workshop is accepted.
What is the host hotel?
What time can I get into my hotel room?
The hotel rooms will be available after 3:00 pm.
Is there free WiFi in the hotel rooms?
Yes. It is included in the cost of the room.
Can I add a cot in my room?
No. Cots are not available. The fire codes do allow them in a room.
What do I do with my suitcase in the morning?
The best thing is to lock it in your car if you can. The front desk will have a room for storage.
Can I buy movies or other programs on the TV?
You will need to give your credit card information to the front desk when you check-in.
Is there a pool at the hotel?
Yes. There is an indoor pool.
Does the pool have a lift?
Does the hotel have a Hoyer Lift for an accessible room?
No. You need to bring your own or rent one.
Will there be a dance?
Yes. The dance starts at 8 pm.
Can I just come to the dance and not go to the conference?
No. The dance is only for people who attend the conference on both days.
How should I dress for the dinner and dance?
